In a world where communication is key, there are nine things we need to tell ourselves more often. To be honest, you should probably speak these words at least once a day.
9) Jesus Loves Me
Not in the Sunday school song sense, but really understand how much Jesus loves you. He cherishes you so much that He died on the cross for you, and He would do it over again if He had to so you would understand His deep, deep love for you.
8) I am Loved
Not only does Jesus love you, but also your parents, friends, siblings, youth pastor, the list goes on and on. Even when you feel like no one in the world cares for you and what you’re going through in life, there is always someone who loves you and wants you to know that you are special in their eyes.
7) I am Beautiful
God takes great pride in His work. He would not make something sloppy or ugly. You are beautiful, especially your imperfections. Remind yourself everyday of the beauty God crafted you with.
6) I am Talented
Your creativity, talents and gifts are God given and inspire others in tremendous ways, so don’t deny your abilities. Your uniqueness is composed of these intricacies that should be admired.
5) I am Valuable
You are irreplaceable and your life matters to a lot of people. God paid a high price for your life (the death of His son), so He especially wants you to know and understand your worth.
4) I Make a Difference
You have a purpose, and God designed you to live out that purpose every day. Your purpose isn’t measly, it’s significant and the Lord is excited to walk with you in your purpose.
3) I am Unique
There is no one like you, and that is wonderful! That means you shouldn’t strive to be like anyone else. Instead, you should enjoy your own interesting quirks, exciting challenges and exquisite beauty.
2) I am Strong and Able
The Lord will give you strength to overcome any obstacle that comes your way. Don’t give up on yourself, rather give in to Him and let Him guide you through hardships and difficulty.
1) My Future is Bright
God has glorious plans for your life. The best is yet to come. Hope for an incredible future because God will provide.
