Same Kind of Different as Me (PG-13)
A well to do man has everything his heart wants including a relationship with a woman other than his wife. In an effort to save his marriage, he agrees to go with his wife to serve at a homeless shelter. The couple meets a man with whom no one’s willing to befriend. Ironically, his wife has a dream about that man and the couple begin a life altering journey to know this stranger.
Watch it For: Change is beautiful and infectious. Every person has so much potential – often more than they realize. Sometimes people just need a nudge to discover how they are the same yet different than everyone else in the world. We are all beautiful, talented people loved by God and given a purpose to pursue. But every beauty, talent and purpose is unique to each individual.
Only The Brave (PG-13)
On June 30, 2013, a horrendous fire roared through Arizona taking 19 lives of the 20-member Granite Mountain Hotshot team. Known as the deadliest fire, Only the Brave captures the life and frightening death of these brave heroes who died trying to save a small community. The Granite Mountain Hotshots are a team of highly trained fighters specialized in extreme wildfires. As the winds change, so does the lives of the fire fighters as well as each person who loved and cared for them.
Watch it For: We all have a responsibility at hand. For some, the task that lays before us is fighting a physical fire, for most of us, it’s fighting metaphorical fires. In either case, we must train hard and rely on our community to survive the trial. Hardship will always come, but defeat is not the only resolution. May this movie ignite a burning desire within to pursue your own strength and ability to be a hero in the midst of life’s obstacles.
A Question of Faith (PG)
Our sins carry consequences. Our hardships bring unimaginable pain. Our insecurity produces doubt. But God brings healing and truth in the midst of any difficulty. A Question of Faith is about three families who are facing the most significant hardship in their lives. Each family deals with the situation differently, but in the end, they all turn to God finding Him as the ultimate provider, healer and source of our security.
Watch it For: Finding strength to survive. A lot of horrible things happen in our lives or the lives of people in our community. It can be easy to turn from God and blame Him during these times. But, God is the supply of our strength to overcome any battle we face. Let the reality of these stories remind you of God’s ultimate truth. He is there for you always and forever. No matter how much you question God, He does not question you. When you don’t sense that your faith is strong enough, trust that God’s faith is more powerful than your weakness.

Watch it For: The beloved classic. No matter how the story of Winnie the Pooh is told, it will always be a part of your heart. The imagination of the characters, the love they feel for one another and the curious problems they solve are a part of your childhood. Allow your love for Pooh and friends to resonate even deeper as you watch the tale of how it all came to be and the struggles that inspired the story that you have grown to love.
