Inside Out (PG)
Growing up is hard – especially when life throws you into new and unknown circumstances. Young Riley finds herself uprooted from the Midwest to busy San Francisco when her dad starts a new job. Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy, Fear, Disgust, Sadness and Anger who live in Headquarters (the control center of Riley’s mind). Her emotions must work together as they struggle to navigate how to best support Riley through this time of transition.
Watch it For: Though it’s easy to believe that we should follow our emotions, this film helps us see that they aren’t the most reliable source when making decisions and moving forward in life. Enjoy a good laugh as you thank God that He is the center of your Headquarters and He can help you bring Joy into all circumstances and situations.
Boy genius Frank Walker grows up to be a hermit living on his family farm surrounded by his unique inventions. Watch it For: Dreams can come true when they are part of a bigger plan. When Casey is just about to give up on her dreams, she learns that her dreams connect her to greater purpose. Others seek concrete answers and scientific explanations trying to prove God doesn’t exist. In order to stop villainous Ultron, the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes must come together. Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Incredible Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye along with others must join forces to stop Ultron from acting out his terrible plans as the Avengers.
Watch it For: It’s easier to fight for freedom with power, might and boldness when you have others backing you up. No matter what the cause, finding support through friends, families or other like-minded people makes the battle bearable.
