The majority of our society daily strives to find happiness. What they’re looking for isn’t happiness, but rather joy. The two are very different, one can be satisfied momentarily, and the other can only be satisfied with the substance of the Lord.
We don’t spend a lot of time looking at King Herod in the Bible story of Jesus’ birth. Instead, we focus on Mary, Joseph, the Shepherds, Angels and Wise Men. But, King Herod is probably the character that we can relate to the most.
