You will need:
1 photo box*
Modge Podge*
Foam brush*
Pictures, magazine clippings, quotes, anything that will remind her of the friendship
Optional adornments (Beads, rhinestones, glitter, lace, buttons, ribbon)
*Available at any arts and crafts store, like Michael’s or Hobby Lobby.
Directions:
- Use the brush and Modge Podge to glue items that sit flat against the surface of the box on the outside (and inside, if you want!) of the box base and lid.
- After everything is secured, brush another coat of Modge Podge over the entire surface to cement any loose edges.
- When the Modge Podge is dry, include additional embellishments to the box using the same pasting process. Allow the paste to dry.
- Fill the inside with a special card, photo or note. Include directions of what she should keep in the box, like a ticket stub from the concert you two attended for her birthday last summer, the small stuffed bear she won by barely beating you at a school carnival or the matching jewelry you both wore to prom.
