Snooze Button Beauty Guide
Did you really just hit the snooze button that many times? How can it already be a half-hour before school starts? Is it even possible to get ready in that much time? Don’t let the mornings that call for a little extra rest get you down. Utilize these basic beauty tips when you’re running late but don’t want to look like a slacker:
Hair
- Use dry shampoo on days when you have greasy hair but no time to shower. We love Acure’s Dry Shampoo with Rosemary and Peppermint, $11.99.
- Go for a messy-chic hair-do with a loose braid or bun.
- If you want to wear your hair down, spritz a little salt spray for a casual back-from-the-beach look.
Makeup
- Save time on makeup by skipping heavy eyeliner and mascara. Wear a bright lip color instead.
- Make your eyes look brighter when you’re feeling half asleep by applying a little white liner to the corner of your eye. Our go-to is the Ulta Retractable Eyeliner in Matte White, $9.00.
Clothes
- Pull together a sloppy outfit of sweats and a t-shirt simply by swapping your sweats for jeans and adding your favorite scarf, jewelry or fun shoes. If you have it in you, wear a skirt with your tee.
Finishing Touch
- Squirt a little body spray as you run out the door to ensure you smell fresh. We recommend Pacifica Island Vanilla Hair and Body Mist, $13.00, or Good Chemistry Queen Bee Body Mist, $12.99.
