We take a lot for granted: the roof over our heads, a healthy body, teachers and an education that trains us for our future. We go about our day forgetting to be grateful for these small things. And, we do the same for the big blessings in our lives. But, Jesus expects us to be thankful for all He provides us.
Our thankfulness is a form of worship. By recognizing all that God has done for us, we’re acknowledging his provision, tenderness, love and care. God deserves our gratitude, we are nothing without Him and everything we have is because of Him. Here are nine songs about thankfulness:

They help us realize how much we take for granted but never really seep into our heart providing opportunity for change. We can go through the motions of thanksgiving and not really mean what we say or do.
Thankfulness reveals who we truly are. It’s a reflection of our identity. What we’re thankful for demonstrates our hearts desire. It exposes our character. It shows what’s really important to us. Our gratitude communicates our wants and needs. It unveils what we value.
