Sometimes understanding a tiny aspect about other cultures can help broaden your perspective, even with something like school! Here’s a glimpse into other societies’ educational system.
China:
Uniforms, student monitors and teachers with stoic expressions are examples of the strict perspective on education in China. The teaching of politics is strictly enforced and self-expression is discouraged.
South Africa:
Students are required to take standardized tests to determine their future educational opportunities. The first few weeks of school often include single-file-lines and strict schedules.
Romania:
Attending school in Romania is a privilege for students. They are taught the basic subjects, similar to the U.S., but must take classes to learn life skills.
